My 6-Day Bali, Indonesia Itinerary

Bali-themed graphic with people in traditional attire, parasols, and landscape. Text reads "6-Day Bali Itinerary." Bright, festive mood.

After falling in love with Bali the first time, I knew I had to come back. So I booked another flight from Ninoy Aquino International Airport—and honestly, this second trip felt even more special because I already knew what to expect.

Here’s how my 6-day Bali itinerary from Manila went the second time around.

Day 1: Back in Bali – Arrival

Traditional house with a steep thatched roof surrounded by lush green vegetation and banana trees under a clear blue sky.

Flying out of Ninoy Aquino International Airport felt exciting, but this time, it was more relaxed.

When I landed at Ngurah Rai International Airport, everything felt familiar. I checked into Grandma's Plus Hotel Legian, which became my home for the trip—super convenient location, close to the beach, shops, and restaurants.

I spent the rest of the day settling in and enjoying the vibe around Legian.

It honestly felt like coming home, not just visiting.

Day 2: Ubud Again – Still Magical 🌿

Lush green rice terraces under a clear blue sky, surrounded by dense tropical trees and palms, evoke a serene, natural landscape.

Even on my second trip, Ubud didn’t disappoint.

I revisited:

  • Kanto Lampo Waterfall – still stunning and fun

  • Tibumana Waterfall – peaceful as ever

  • Tegalalang Rice Terrace – even more beautiful this time

I also tried the Ubud Jungle Swing again—and yes, still scary 😅 but worth it.

Day 3: Temples & Views – Slowing Down 🌄

Stone gate with intricate carvings, flanked by red and yellow umbrellas. Lush greenery and misty mountains in the background. Overcast sky.

On my first trip, I rushed this part. This time, I slowed down and really enjoyed every stop.

Stops included:

  • Handara Gate

  • Ulun Danu Beratan Temple

  • Jatiluwih Rice Terraces

I ended the day at Tanah Lot Temple, and the sunset somehow felt even more magical the second time.

Day 4: East Bali – Worth the Early Wake-Up 📸

A person in a skirt stands between two ornate stone pillars, reflected in a still pool. Cloudy sky, serene atmosphere.

Yes… I woke up at 3:30 AM again 😅

But visiting Lempuyang Temple again was totally worth it. This time, I was more prepared and less focused on rushing.

Other highlights:

  • Tirta Gangga

  • Tukad Cepung Waterfall

✨ I focused less on photos and more on the experience.

Day 5: Slowing Down – My Favorite Part 🌊

Ancient Hindu temple with intricate carvings, surrounded by lush green forest. Monkeys roam the stone courtyard. Weathered, serene ambiance.

Since I had already done most of the tours, I chose to slow down and enjoy Bali at my own pace.

I spent time around Legian—exploring cafés, walking near the beach, and just appreciating the atmosphere near Grandma's Plus Hotel Legian.

I thought about visiting Nusa Penida, but doing nothing felt even better.

Other options:

  • Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary

  • Seminyak

💆‍♀️ Second trips are definitely for slowing down.

Day 6: Departure – Until Next Time Bali 💛

Colorful airplane with cartoon graphics on a runway. Three ground crew members in green vests work nearby. Hills and greenery in the background.

On my final day, I checked out of Grandmas Plus Hotel Legian and headed back to Ngurah Rai International Airport.

Leaving felt a little easier this time… maybe because I already know I’ll be back.

What I Learned on My Second Trip

  • Bali is even better when you don’t rush

  • You don’t need to redo everything—just enjoy what you love

  • Where you stay matters—and Legian was a great base for me

Final Thoughts

Traveling again from Manila to Bali made me realize something: the first trip is for exploring, but the second trip is for truly experiencing.
